Welcome to Nancy's Web Page! I am
learning to make this at the 2001
Governor's Institute.

My favorite flower is chickory because
of its deep blueness and it's hardiness - it has the ability to survive
in a very poor environment.

I teach 10th grade biology at Oxbow
High School in Bradford, VT. I lived and taught in elementary schools in
the U.S. Virgins Island for 13 years. My most memorable experiences with
my students there included watching leartherback sea turtles nesting at
Sandy Point, St. Croix, and exploring the National Park on the island of
St. John.
I have 2 sons: Chris, 34, is a supervisor in the engineering department
of HOVENSA Oil Refinery of the Virgin Islands. Jason, 21, is a diving instructor
at Cane Bay, St. Croix. My daughter-in-law, Yvette, (Chris's wife) has a
website. To view it, click here
My hobbies are gardening and cooking. I'm trying
to maintain an organic garden by experimenting with non- harmful ways of
discouraging pest insects. This year I'm trying to weigh all that produce
that comes from the garden to determine exactly how much food this little
plot of land actually yields.
