Welcome to Emily's page.

Have fun looking around. ; )

Hello. My school of origin is Rutland High School in Rutland, VT.

I really enjoy playing softball for the RHS and Rutland area teams. This year our Varsity team won the State Championship. Quite exciting!

Singing is lots of fun, too. I sing all the time at home. Just random stuff usually. Sometimes my family is less than ecstatic to hear me warbling away. I really like the band Guster. Click here to go to Guster's web page.

Why not visit ABC News's website for the latest update?

I still have a couple years left in high school, but the Great College Search is on! I think I want to go into biology. Genetics specifically. Click here to see some cool microbe pictures. My sister goes to Cornell University. I think that would be a cool place to go to college. I visited her several times and really like the campus. Is it for me? That is the question. Right now I'm at the Governor's Institute of Vermont for Science and Technology. Hopefully, it will give me some insight as to what I want to do in the future.

Me on the way back to UVM after a day at the lake.

While here at the Institute, I participated in some really neat activities. My group of twelve students had Iroquois Lake in Williston as our homesite. I must say that this was probably the best place because we could canoe around and go on an occassional swim. :) Click here to visit our website.

We also saw a whole bunch of animals.

~~~We found Speedy near one of the vernal pools.~~~~A lovely fish in the parking lot.~~~Here we are playing football. (My team won:)
Of course it wasn't all fun and games. There was lots of journal writing.
This is PJ using "Paul" to dig a pit to analyze the soil.
You can do it, Jack.
Yum, yum, yum. Eating at Simpson Dining Hall. :)
Kat, the lifeguard, catching a quick snooze on the job. Boy, I feel safe.
That's it for now folks! Au revoir!
