GPS Navigation

One of the things we focused on in Five Tree was GPS (Global Positioning Satelites) navigation. We used it constantly to measure coordinates of places we took samples or measurements. Whenever we took a tree core or a trail measurement we used the GPS navigation units to take the coordinates of the area. They are very helpful tools in the field and using them was a new learning experience.
