Sara and Leah do the math after taking snow cores at the top of the notch. The snow there was so dense that it took both of the extremely buff girls to get the tube through the snow!

Ben and Neal take a break from snow density to grin for a picture.

Neal snaps a picture of Ben as he collects samples of snow from different layers to figure out what type of snow it is.

Our bonsai jumpers laugh as they tumble down the slope after starting the avalanche.

Our extremely buff Leah and Sara succeeded in getting the snow sample. Now they just have to pull the core OUT of the snow!

Jesse (right, in red) looks on as the lazy ones slide down the mountain, rather than hiking. The REALLY desperate ones even slid down on their shovels!

An uphill view of Sara bombing down the hill before continuing her trek up Mt. Mansfield.

Looking back on the trail that took us to the top of Smugglers' Notch, we will always remember the great times and weather!
