Colchester Pond is located in Colchester
Vermont, approximetly 8 miles from Burlington. It is a secluded, public-access,
area that is being managed by the Winooski Valley Park District. It is a
great place to go canoeing, fishing, hiking, and camping (if you have a
permit).
This site is dedicated to this pond and almost everything to know about it is included, from its surrounding soil to its wildlife. This information was gathered by twelve high school students and many helpful scientists, all taking part in the Governor's Institute of Vermont for Science and Technology.
