Ok, this is me hard at work on this page (Yes, it's an awful picture!):

I'm from Sheldon, Vermont, but I attend Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans. If you'd like to

go check out BFA's page, go Here

We were told to tell a little something about ourselves, so here goes...

---I'm seventeen years old and i'll be a senior in the fall.

---I love to travel; I've been to France, Australia and New Zealand, not to mention many states.

---I took piano lessons for four years and I still play occasionally.

---I would like to major in Pharmacy or Environmental Science after High School

About GIV (SAT):

The 36 of us "kids" were split up into three seperate groups and concentrated on a specific field site in

the greater Burlington area. My group concentrated on the Indian Brook Reservoir, which is where

many of these pictures were taken. I concentrated mainly on the actual reservoir itself, not the

surrounding forests. The whole project was a lot of fun. We also got to go out on UVM research bessel

called the Melrosia, where we learned a little bit more about Lake Champlain. One of my favorite parts

of the whole week was an elective course I participated in where I was given a tour of the Fletcher

Allen Health Center (hospital.) I got to actually be in the room where open heart surgery was being

done, which was a opportunity that most people will never get. I felt a little faint, but it was definately

one of the most memorable moments of my life. I met a lot of really neat people here, and the staff

was exceptional. I had a lot of fun this week and wish I could come back every summer!

And lastly, this is us aboard the Melrosia, a UVM research vessel.

Basically, I had a really good time this week, and I learned a lot, too. This was definately worth my time!
