I'm a bit distorted but happy!

This is my third year teaching in the Governor's Institute of Vermont, Science and Technology. Through this program, I have had the opportunity to work with and be inspired by groups of motivated high school students interested in science. It's exciting, intense and fun!!!

I'm currently a graduate student in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Vermont. My research has focused on Franklin Bog, a wetland complex located in the northwestern corner of Vermont. I have been looking at the effects of stream water quality and land use on the soil and vegetation composition of this wetland.
