Designed community-scale air quality monitoring system and public environmental health outreach program. Participated in Regional Dialogue on Clean Air and Redevelopment, Emissions Marketing Association, Clean Air Network.

Medical and legal advocate, crisis counselor to sexual assault survivors in Emergency Rooms of 16 Chicago City Hospitals. Trained new advocates for ER intervention. Trained Chicago police officers in effective response to domestic violence calls.

Designed statistical model to identify and assess urban communities of environmental inequity. Expanded economic and social demographic indicators, developed quantitative social and physical environmental health indicators.

Organized courses and workshops, coordinated U of C Departments and outside agencies. Handled academic files for approximately 60 students. Coordinated jobs and internships for undergraduates. Wrote foundation grants, reports. Assembled Department web page.

Six-member team restructured institutional intervention system on assault and harassment, designed model coordinating medical, legal, academic, and counseling services. Presented and defended protocol in approximately 20 public hearings. Assembled and managed 100-active-member Coalition against Sexual Violence to advocate for outlined prevention and intervention measures.

Handled constituent casework, advocated on behalf of constituents with federal agencies including Housing and Urban Development, Immigration and Naturalization. Participated in Democratic National Convention, August 1996.

Organized environmental reference, resource center. Coordinated volunteers, educational programs, fundraisers. Maintained local and national contacts.

Helped to coordinate conference and booklet to aid corporations in compliance with Chicago recycling laws.
