The Certificate of Graduate Study in Ecological Design is overseen by the following committee:

There are two ways to earn a Certificate of Graduate Study in Ecological Design:
- Graduate students can earn a Certificate as part of any of the following University of Vermont masters and/or doctoral degree programs:
- RUBENSTEIN SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES:
(MS/Ph.D.)
- COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS:
Civil and Environmental Engineering (MS/Ph.D.)
- COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND LIFE SCIENCES:
Plant and Soil Science (MS/Ph.D.)
Community Development and Applied Economics (MS)
Public Administration (MPA)
- COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES:
Historic Preservation (MS)
- The Certificate can also be earned as a "stand-alone" certificate for Continuing Education students, who already have an appropriate Master’s or Ph.D., or for qualified professionals with equivalent life experience. Applications will be reviewed by an appropriately identified group of faculty.
