Gidon Bavly is a native of Israel, and has taught Elementary and Intermediate Hebrew at the University of Vermont since 1997. As a native speaker of Hebrew, he provides his students with excellent instruction in the language, and detailed and well informed information and insights into Israeli culture. His classes make good use of the Language Resource Center in order to hear and practice the Hebrew language, and use Hebrew language word processors to complete their assignments. The Elementary Hebrew class meets at the Language Resource Center once a week to familiarize students with its offerings, and enhance their learning of Hebrew.
