This File Transfer Application was written by UVM to facilitate the transfer of large files. People often expect to be able to email very large files. We don't believe email was designed for emailing 100MB files around. This page can be used to transfer a file to a UVM person (either by another UVM person, or a non-UVM person), and can also be used by a UVM person to send a file to a non-UVM person.
This service is functionally similar to an anonymous FTP service, but has better security and is less likely to be abused.
Current maximum file size is 1GB. Files will automatically be deleted from the server if they haven't been accessed for three weeks.
