Description:

We all recognize that good coaching is an integral part of a winning and productive team — in business this translates directly to improving the bottom line in a way that builds strong partnerships and a culture of support and opportunity. If you believe in the adage that "people are the real source of competitive advantage," then learning how and when to coach your people is one investment with long-term payback that you can't afford not to make. Within a peer group or organizational context, coaching is a critical element to develop trust and enhance the group relationship.

In this program, you will learn what coaches do (coaching skills), how to produce results through coaching (coaching patterns) and intentionally design patterns and environments that positively affect peer group performance (life patterns), including:

  • Gap Assessment
  • Rudimentary understanding of the 4 areas of Emotional Intelligence
  • Rudimentary understanding of cross-generational communications styles
  • Introduction to coaching skills
  • Skill building in listening, questioning, trust-building and coaching presence
  • Tools for better collaboration including leadership and cross-generational communications
