Panelist

Dr. Mary Arnold is a 4-H youth development evaluation specialist and has a considerable publication record. She has been a consistent presenter in recent years at NAE4-HA, and co-presented a preconference session on scholarship and publishing in 2009. Recently, Dr. Arnold was co-editor of New Directions for Evaluation (December 2008) that focused on evaluation in Extension. She also co-authored a chapter in the same volume on rigor in evaluation.

Dr. Arnold is past chair of the Extension Education Topical Interest Group (EEE-TIG) of the American Evaluation Association (AEA). Mary was awarded the National Excellence in Evaluation Training award by the EEE-TIG. She has presented on the topic of 4-H program evaluation at several recent national meetings of the AEA. She has also published numerous articles on the evaluation of 4-H programs.
