Divorce and other family transitions are recognized as very stressful. This four-hour educational program focuses on the needs of children during such times of stress. Required by the Family Court for divorcing and separating parents, the seminars are conducted by qualified faculty from the University of Vermont Extension and other trained professionals. Topics include:
  • How families experience divorce and other family transitions.
  • Typical reactions of children.
  • Development needs of children.
  • Skills that help children cope.
  • Pitfalls to avoid.
