Teen Leadership Weekend
Time: 7:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Description: Teen Leadership Weekend is an exciting, activity-filled weekend for 4-H members ages 13-18 (as of January 1, 2013). Youth will learn valuable leadership skills and engage in fun team building games. Cost is $150 which includes 2 nights lodging, all meals, activities, bowling/pizza party and materials.
Sign up today! Registration ends on November 9. Space is limited to first 50 registrants. Anyone serving on Teen Congress or Mini Congress Teen Boards is required to attend this weekend.

2012 Vermont Community Energy and Climate Action Conference
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Lake Morey Resort, Fairlee
Description: University of Vermont Extension and the Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network (VECAN) invite you to attend a conference on Community Energy and Climate Action on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Lake Morey Inn in Fairlee, Vermont. The theme of this year’s energizing event is “Getting to 90 Percent Renewable by 2050”. The conference begins with coffee and refreshments and exhibitors starting at 8:00am and will conclude at 4:00pm.
Advanced registration is required. The registration fee includes all workshop materials, general sessions, breaks, and lunch. General registration: $25/person (includes registration and lunch featuring local foods). Registration after November 21 is $30/person. Student Registration: $15/person (includes registration and lunch). Available to Vermont High School and College students in good standing. Registration must be submitted by November 21. Limited number available.

One-on-One Ag Finance Hour
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Berlin Ext Office
Description: Now is a great time to update your financials. “Ag Finance Hour” is a time to sit down with a UVM Extension Farm Business Management specialist, one-on-one, to work on the financial planning, critical to your farm’s success. Meetings last an hour to an hour and a half and are focused on developing balance sheets, cash budgets or completing financial analysis.
There is a $15 registration fee.
