Support Local 4-H Through Current Paper Clover Campaign

Burlington--Shoppers at Tractor Supply Company (TSC) stores throughout Vermont can help support local and state 4-H programs by purchasing a paper clover at checkout this week.

The Spring 4-H Paper Clover campaign runs from April 23 to May 4. During this promotional period, customers will have an opportunity to support University of Vermont (UVM) Extension 4-H by donating $1 or more for a paper clover at any of the seven TSC stores in the state.

Proceeds from these sales will go to 4-H programs in the counties where the stores are located as well as the state 4-H program and National 4-H. The money will be used to support 4-H youth development including club, county and statewide 4-H activities; special interest 4-H science programs and volunteer recognition.

More than 1,200 TSC and Del's Feed and Farm Supply stores in 48 states participate in the promotional campaign, held each spring and fall since 2010 in partnership with the National 4-H Council. Local 4-H clubs help promote 4-H during the campaigns by setting up in-store exhibits, greeting customers and being available to answer questions about 4-H.

Vermont TSC store locations include Bennington (300 Depot St.), Derby (124 Commerce Way), Montpelier (352 River St.), Morrisville (88 Center Rd.), North Clarendon (1177 Rte. 7 S), Shelburne (3708 Shelburne Rd.) and St. Albans (2636 Highgate Rd.).
