Nutrition Education

University of Vermont Extension is committed to working with individuals, families, and community partners to promote healthy living and improve economic and social wellbeing. Food & Nutrition programs provide information and education to assist Vermonters in acquiring new skills and to make informed choices about their food.

UVM Extension offers nutrition education programs for adults and children through the national Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). EFNEP Vermont works hand-in-hand with local partners to serve income-eligible Vermonters throughout the state. For more information or to sign-up visit the EFNEP website.
