Vermont Organic Dairy Producers Conference

Description: Offered in collaboration with NOFA , Vermont's Dairy Technical Assistance Program. This year we have two keynote speakers, Dr. Rober Moon, a veterinary entomologist at the University of Minnesota and Dr. Guy Jodarski, a staff veterinarian for Organic Valley, CROPP Cooperative. Dr. Heather Darby will present on recent resarch evaluating on-farm precision feed management and connections between soil fertility, feed quality, and milk quality.

Annual Grain Growers Conference

Description: "Grains in a Diversified Farming System" Come hear how Dru Rivers and Paul Muller, two local farm owners, have integrated growing grains into their dynamic vegetable operation along with their farm partners Andrew Brait and Judith Redmond. Scott Fish from University of Oregon will present research on the barley breeding program. Also sessions on hulless oats, gluten free grains, distilling, equipment, marketing heirloom grains, raising grains for animal feed, and hands on baking.
