Register for Coping with Separation and Divorce

Attendance is required of both parents in divorce, separation, parentage, and post-divorce changes within 60 days of service upon a parent.

Pre-registration is required one week before scheduled seminar. You may attend the program in any county, but your registration must go to the county where your case is being heard. Mail the registration form (PDF), found in the program brochure, with the $50/per participant fee to your Family Court. Please send a personal money order if you will be closing your checking account in the next three months. Payments should be written to UVM Extension.

To request a disability-related accommodation to participate in this program, please contact the Family Court (refer to the court telephone number listing provided below) where you will attend the seminar at least two weeks before the program date so we may assist you.

All seminars are held in the Family Courthouse. Plan to attend the seminar that you have requested. No further notification will be given unless there is a conflict.

After attending the full four-hour session, participants will get a certificate to confirm their attendance with the court.

Program content is not appropriate for children.
