Joan Vance has worked as an administrator of rural social and health programs for over 25 years. She has 20 years of experience in tribal settings, both as an administrator of programs and a coordinator of partnership projects. She has worked in Extension since 2001, first in Washington state, and coming to UVM in 2010. She has conducted research on models of family engagement through the University of Washington and is engaged in furthering that work at UVM Extension.
