Conflict occurs in any environment where two or more people engage with one another on topics they care about. While most of us do not look forward to conflict, in many instances, conflict can be a path to growth and learning both for the individuals involved and for the organization. Learning to engage and constructively manage conflict is an important skill for anyone working in a group setting.
In this module we address different types of conflict that typically occurs in small organizations and committees along with when and how to intervene. We explore different personality types and learn to recognize how personality type impacts the nature and severity of organizational conflict.
