Community and Leadership Development

Vermont towns are becoming increasingly complex systems that require up-to-date knowledge and competency from local leaders, municipal officials and citizens. Vermont citizens place a high priority on local control. UVM's Extension focuses on the state's citizens of target communities and assists them in actively participating in local government and/or community groups where policy decisions are made. Increased use of business analysis tools to improve agricultural business management decision-making is also provided.
