About UVM Wireless on the Mac

Apple's Macs support the the WPA2 Enterprise model, which is required for connectivity to the UVM wireless network, under the following conditions:

• the machine is running Mac OS X 10.4 ("Tiger") or 10.5 ("Leopard"); and
• the machine has a working AirPort Extreme wireless card installed. (First-generation AirPort cards do not support WPA2.)

How do I know whether my computer is running 10.4 or 10.5?

1. Select "About This Mac" from the Apple menu in the top, left-hand corner of your screen:
   
2. Look under the large, bold title "Mac OS X" for "Version 10.x.y":
