Subject:     UVM RFP #03-07-05

The University of Vermont has received and evaluated the responses to

our RFP #03-07-05 Email, Personal Organization, Calendar,   

Collaboration, and Communication Systems.  We have chosen to focus

continued investigation on the following four products:

   Microsoft Exchange

   Mirapoint

   Oracle Collaboration Suite

   Stalker Software CommuniGate Pro

As next steps, we will be requesting demonstrations of the four products

listed above, and we are contacting current users.  While  

there were multiple proposals for some products, we will ask just one

vendor to demonstrate each product.

Because there were multiple proposals for some products, we will be

evaluating differences between competing vendors carefully.    

Demonstrating a product for us will not imply that other vendors of the

same product are dropped from consideration.

The University again thanks all bidders for their interest in meeting

our needs, and for the obvious care and hard work that went into  

developing their proposals.
