Dell

• Dell Notebook Battery Recall (Updated October 30, 2008)
  Dell recalls certain batteries for Latitude™, Precision™ and Inspiron™ notebooks. It is possible for these batteries to overheat, which could pose a risk of fire. Batteries announced by Sony in October 2008 added to Dell's program. Affected batteries must be exchanged directly through Dell via the Dell Battery Program website.

Apple

• Apple Battery Updates for MacBook and MacBook Pro notebook computers.
  This was not a battery recall program. Replacement of eligible batteries was closed by Apple on May 31, 2009.
