Importing UVM Events Calendars for viewing on the go

Your iPod photo can store a variety of UVM Events Calendars for viewing on the go.

If you are using a Mac, iCal and iSync, you can also keep your Mac, iPod and UVM Events Calendars synchronized, such that every time you hook your iPod up to your computer, the latest UVM Events Calendars is automatically loaded.  Synchronizing information using iSync requires Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later, iSync 1.1 or later, and iCal 1.0.1 or later.

If you are using Windows, or you don’t want to import using iSync, you can transfer information to iPod  manually. iPod  must be enabled as a hard disk (see Using iPod  as an External Hard Disk).

How is this possible?

To import UVM Events Calendars using a Mac, iCal and iSync:

iSync transfers information from iCal and Mac OS X Address Book to your iPod.

The next time you want to sync iPod , you can simply open iSync and click Sync Now. You can also choose to have iPod  sync automatically when you connect it.

Note: iSync transfers information from your computer to iPod. You can’t use iSync to transfer information from your iPod to your computer.

To view calendar events on your iPod:  Select Extras > Calendar.

To import UVM calendar events manually:

• Connect iPod  to your computer.  iPod must be enabled as a hard disk (see Using iPod  as an External Hard Disk).
• Click on a calendar name below, Download to your Desktop
• Drag the downloaded file to the Calendars folder on iPod photo.  

You will need to repeat these steps often to keep your iPod calendars up to date.

To view calendar events on your iPod:  Select Extras > Calendar.

To import your own calendar

If you are an Oracle Calendar user, you can import your own calendar, provided that you have not restricted read access to your agenda. The URL for use with iCal Subscribe or for manual downloading is


replace surname with your Oracle Calendar surname (last name) and givenname with your Oracle Calendar given name (first name) . Example
