The popular reading section on the second floor is available for easy browsing. The library catalog can be searched at your desktop at http://voyager.uvm.edu/. The library has a large collection of DVDs and Videos, including many new release titles, that you can take home overnight free of charge. To see lists of movies that can be checked out go to: http://library.uvm.edu/about/mediaresources/collections/.

Remote Access

The library has tons of resources that you can make use of from your office or home. Access from home just got a whole lot easier with the new EZProxy Service. Visit the libraries home page at http://library.uvm.edu/ and click on the "Connect from Off Campus" bar to get set up.

Your Own Reference Collection

Are you looking for ready access to reference materials, but unable to trudge all the way across campus when you're in the middle of writing a report? The libraries' Online Reference Shelf at http://library.uvm.edu/reference/index.html links you to online versions of English and bilingual dictionaries, general and subject encyclopedias, telephone and email directories, style guides, and a huge list of other resources.

Electronic Books

Several collections of online books are available at http:// library.uvm.edu/books/index.html#e-books. These include Safari Tech Books on just about any computer topic, such as web publishing, operating systems, networking, or graphics.
