Exam Proctoring Center
The University of Vermont Exam Proctoring Center (EPC) provides alternative testing services to students with diagnosed disabilities, to qualified TRiO and International students, and students with temporary physical disabilities.
- We do not schedule tests over the phone
- Tests during the semester must be scheduled 1 week in advance
- Finals must be scheduled 2 weeks in advance
- Past these deadlines students must schedule tests in person at the EPC
- ACCESS Students are allowed 1 Late Signup per semester
- After their 1st Late Signup they must meet with their Specialist before any additional requests will be processed
- We cannot accommodate students who have not scheduled in advance or are not qualified for our services.
StudentsStudents with documented disabilities or certain TRiO and international students may qualify to use alternative testing services at the Exam Proctoring Center. Students are required to abide by the EPC Usage Guidelines and the UVM Code of Academic Integrity . FacultyExam Proctoring ChecklistPlease do not send students to the EPC for testing without contacting us first; Faculty are responsible for getting exams to the Exam Proctoring Center. Courtesy ExamsCourtesy Exam Request You are responsible for contacting your institution to have your exam sent to UVM. The EPC will administer and proctor exams as a courtesy for other educational institutions or organizations as our schedule permits. The EPC can administer computer-based, listening, and paper-based exams. Exams will be administered according to the exam source's instructions and specifications.
