Exam Proctoring Center
The University of Vermont Exam Proctoring Center (EPC) provides alternative testing services to students with diagnosed disabilities as well as to certain TRiO and International students.
- We do not schedule tests over the phone
- Tests during the semester must be scheduled 1 week in advance
- Finals must be scheduled 2 weeks in advance
- Past these deadlines students must schedule tests in person at the EPC
- We cannot accommodate students who have not scheduled in advance or are not qualified for our services.
StudentsStudents with documented disabilities or certain TRiO and international students may qualify to use alternative testing services at the Exam Proctoring Center. Students are required to abide by the EPC Usage Guidelines and the UVM Code of Academic Integrity . Students use the Exam Scheduling Request to schedule tests or finals. FacultyFaculty are responsible for getting exams to the Exam Proctoring Center. There are a variety of ways in which exams can be sent. Faculty uses the Exam Proctoring Checklist to email exams and proctoring conditions to the EPC. Courtesy ExamsThe EPC will administer and proctor exams as a courtesy for other educational institutions or organizations as our schedule permits. The EPC can administer computer-based, listening, and paper-based exams. Exams will be administered according to the exam source's instructions and specifications.
