National Ground Water
Association Summit |
Denver, Colorado |
April 11 - 15, 2010 |
| The summit is a joint meeting with the Ground Water Protection Council. Website: www.ngwa.org/summit2010/index.aspx. Many interesting and diverse sessions, lectures, and panel discussions are planned for the meeting. Summit sessions are top quality, the panel discussions are interesting, and the Carcy, Birdsall and McEllhiney lectures are all presented during the conference. It is an excellent venue for sharing your work and networking with colleagues. |
| The Call for Abstracts is out, share some of your work at the Summit. Please consider submitting to the session "Improving Applied Groundwater Model Prediction Through Parameter Estimation and Uncertainty Analysis" that Eileen Peoter is chairing with Jason House and Mary Hill. The on-line submission process can be accessed at: ngwa.confex.com/ngwa/2010gws/cfp.cgi . That page list titles for all of the proposed sessions. The work that you are interested in presenting may be more appropriate for another session. Descriptions of all sessions are provided at www.ngwa.org/summit2010/Sessions2010/index.aspx . |
| The deadline for abstract submission is Midnight US Eastern Time November 6. For the first time, there will be a job fair at the meeting. You may also be interested in the field trip in the Denver Basin and other field trips and short courses which will be posted as they are arranged. Please let me know if you have questions, and let your colleagues know about the Summit as well! Feel free to forward this email to others. |
