THE UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT has a centralized
admissions process. On the Application for Admission,
prospective students indicate a "Choice of
UVM Major," and the application is reviewed
with the intended major in mind. |

For students applying to The Rubenstein
School of Environment and Natural Resources, we
look for a solid high school record, preferably
including three years of science and math continuing
into the senior year. Transfer applicants are expected
to have met these entrance requirements and to have
a minimum college grade point average of 2.5 on
a 4.0 scale. Application essays, extracurricular
activities, and work experience can be especially
helpful in assessing the candidate. |
