Using GhostReader to Create MP3 audio files(MAC)
Open GhostReader program, default location is Applications folder then GhostReader folder
On the top of the screen menu, click "Window" >> "Show GhostReader Window"
The GhostReader window should appear, now select the "Open Reader" button, or use the keyboard shortcut (command + o)
A finder window will appear, this is where you will locate the text files (PDF, DOC(X), TXT, RTF......) you would like to read.
Once the text file (PDF, DOC, TXT....) is open in the Reader Window, Click the "File" menu and select "Export to iTunes Track..."
You should now see the "Save Speech to iTunes Track" menu, Tack Name: will automatically name the audio file the same as the text file you opened, Encoder: recomended selection is "MP3 Encoder" then click "OK"
Once you have clicked the OK button a progress bar will appear, the time to convert to audio will depend on how big the text file is. (The bigger the text file the longer it will take to convert.) When it is complete it will save into iTunes under the GhostReader playlist.
