Email and Messages in Bb

Blackboard provides a couple of alternatives to direct email.

Blackboard Email allows you to send email to individuals, student groups, or your entire class. These emails go to user's UVM email accounts and a copy is also sent to you. Read more about email and messages on the how-to page.

Blackboard "Messages" is another Blackboard communication tool, but be aware before implementing this tool that messages circulate only within the course. Students will not be alerted that they have a new message unless they click on that tool in the course to check their Messages inbox. Read more about email and messages on the how-to page.
