What is your role in the Center for Student Ethics and Standards? As an Assistant Director for Community Standards, I meet with students who are alleged to have violated
University policy. Typically these conversations involve violations related to alcohol, drugs, and physical
or sexual violence.
I have worked at UVM for a total of 7 years, off and on since 1997. I was a graduate
student for two years, came back to work professionally for two years, and came back again in 2009.
Who's paying?! Although, I try to pack my lunch as often as possible, I do enjoy New World Tortilla and Pam's Deli cart. What is your best advice for a current UVM student? Take an active role in your education. Get to know your professors and go to office hours.
Ask for help when you need it. Get to know your resources and staff who can support you in being successful
at UVM. Get involved in student organizations, leadership, volunteer work, and other opportunities to
engage fully in your college experience. Study abroad. Take advantage of the outdoors and all Vermont has to offer. I love being outdoors and going for walks/hikes. On quieter days, I like watching movies and playing games. |
