Resources and Expertise to Support People and Communities
Become a member of the CRS Team!
The Center for Rural Studies is a fun and rewarding place for a new opportunity. You will be part of a team researching close-to-home Vermont issues and tackling real-world challenges!
Working for CRS will put you to task in multiple areas, including writing, analysis, communication and project coordination. You will become knowledgeable in the topics that our projects tackle, including food systems, community development, transportation, community indicators, resource challenges, program evaluation, and more. These will all look great on your resume!
Enjoy Coming to Work!
Our work environment and staff are casual and fun. We love what we do! Meet the CRS staff.
Make a Difference!
If you excel at the job, our goal is to give you increasing levels of responsibility in projects that make a real difference to people and communities in Vermont and beyond.
Expand Your Networks!
Fit It All Into Your Day!
Enjoy working flexible hours that fit with your school schedule. Students generally work between 4 and 10 hours a week, with exceptions around exams, holidays and breaks, of course.
