April 18: David Just on the Value of Choice

David Just, a leading food policy scholar, will discuss the use of behavioral economics as a tool to fight obesity at the University of Vermont on Monday, April 18. His guest lecture, "The Value Of Choice: A Behavioral Economic Approach To Food Policy," will take place from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. in the Sugar Maple Ballroom at the Dudley H. Davis Center at UVM. His talk is free and open to the public.

Study: Vermont Maple Industry Contributes More Than $300 Million in Sales to State's Economy

Vermont’s maple industry contributed between $317 and $330 million in total sales to the state’s economy in 2013, according to a recently completed economic contribution study conducted for the Vermont Maple Sugar Makers Association (VMSMA) by the Center for Rural Studies at the University of Vermont.
