The Vermont State Data Center
- By Array
The State Data Center (SDC) Program is a cooperative program between the states and the U.S. Census Bureau that enables public access to Federal Census data through a network of state agencies, universities, libraries, and regional and local organizations.
The Vermont State Data Center, located at UVM’s Center for Rural Studies, provides online data resources for Vermonters; technical assistance in accessing and using Census data; and outreach and education programs to facilitate research, administration, planning and decision making by state and local government, the business community, non-profit organizations and all other data users. The VT SDC also coordinates with the Census Bureau on data collection and feedback to ensure data accuracy, and represents Vermont’s data users at the Federal level.
