How to find the CRC at University of Vermont:

We are housed on the seventh floor of the Baird wing of Fletcher Allen Health Care, 111 Colchester Avenue, Burlington, VT.

On the way to your first visit to the CRC, you will need to stop briefly in Registration.  Registration is located on the 3rd floor of the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) in FAHC. Volunteers will receive free parking in the parking garage. We will validate the parking stub when you arrive at the CRC.  If you have difficulty walking, valet parking is available as well.  If departing before 4:00pm, the volunteer may call ahead (847-2812) to have his/her vehicle pulled up and waiting at the ACC entrance.  After 4:00pm, the volunteer should present the claim check to the security officer at the ACC Information Desk or the attendant in the garage tollbooth.  The volunteer will be given his/her keys and directed to his/her car.

From the parking garage, take the elevator to the third floor where Registration is located (near the gift shop).  Identify yourself as a research patient.  They will obtain basic information about you such as address, phone number and a contact person.  (If this information later changes, it would be helpful if you let the CRC know so that we can keep your information current).  They will then issue you a blue card which we will use to track any tests or x-rays that are done during the study. You are only required to stop at the first visit.  After your data is in the system, and at later visits, you will come directly to the CRC.

The CRC is located in the Baird Building.  From Registration, take a right down the long hallway which connects with the inpatient floors. At the end of the hallway, take another right and go to the elevator on the third floor of the Baird Building by the cafeteria.  Ride the elevator to the 7th floor and go to Baird 757 where you will be checked in (if by any chance there is no one there, proceed down the corridor to the Nurses’ Station).

If you need assistance in walking, please ask for a wheelchair at the desk in the ACC and someone will transport you to Baird 7.
