University of Vermont Clinical Research Center
Welcome to the University of Vermont
Clinical Research Center (CRC)
The objective of the CRC Program is to provide scientists the infrastructure necessary for the efficient and productive conduct of high quality clinical research. The CRC strives to provide a conducive environment for studies of normal and abnormal body function and for investigations of the cause, progression, prevention, control, and cure of human disease. Use of the CRC for interdisciplinary, collaborative research and training in medical research is encouraged. The CRC is available to investigators from all medical specialties and from the basic sciences. Investigators who receive their primary research funding from components of the NIH and investigators gathering pilot data for submission of grants to the NIH are the principal users of the CRC. However, the CRC may host investigations funded by other federal, state and local agencies as well as by the private sector.
The University of Vermont Clinical Research Center is physically located on the 7th floor of the Baird Building at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT. We support both Extended Outpatient and Regular Outpatient studies and offer services to the investigator in the areas of Administration, Nursing, Nutrition, Physiology, Imaging, Sample Handling, and Informatics.
