Winooski River Erosion Project

Using a combination of field measurements and a variety of instruments, sensors and models, we are working to better understand the rate at which different river banks are retreating. The original project has been supplemented with measurement of cosmogenic 10-Be adhered to suspended sediment collected from various landscape elements and from flood flows in the Winooski River and its tributaries.
