Baffin Island Glacial Chronology and Process



Baffin Island has long been the center of debate about the timing of maximum Laurentide ice extent. We sampled moraine boulders as well as striated bedrock to determine that in the Pangnirtung area, maximum ice extent occurred during the latest Pleistocene.
