Game Changers for Social Justice Research and Action

Friday, March 30, 2012 | 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. | Location: 4th Floor Davis Center

Given the complex activity systems approach to social justice leadership, the purpose of this keynote is to develop understanding of how to appropriate the tools of both qualitative and quantitative methods, and unify them through new approaches into a dynamic, time-based experience for participants. Using the "game changers" of cultural history activity theory, systems thinking, the structures and dynamics of complex systems, and "global flatteners", participants will increase their awareness as complex thinkers, "global integrators", and the inseparability of technology with the advancing horizons of transdisciplinary and science education.
