Charles Barasch, MS, CCC-SLP
Lecturer in Communication Sciences and Disorders
Charles Barasch is a speech-language pathologist working with children from pre-school through high school. He is author of a book of poetry, Dreams of the Presidents. He currently teaches Linguistics for Clinicians at UVM and has taught Introduction to Linguistics and Research Methods in Communication Sciences. He has worked as a numismatist and "oldies" disc jockey, as well as a mathematics and physical education teacher. He has been Moderator of the Plainfield, Vermont, town meeting for over 30 years. His poems have been published in many literary and general-interest magazines, and he has created crossword puzzles that have appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and Washington Post.

Co-Director, Central Vermont Stuttering Group, Barre and Montpelier, 1999 - 2003. Planned and conducted group therapy sessions for elementary school children and their parents.
