Regulation of Kv1.2 Potassium Channels
I completed my Bachelors in Pharmacy from Vaagdevi College of Pharmacy in 2009, India and Masters in Pharmacology from Northeastern University, Boston in 2011. I joined the CMB Program with a specific interest in Pharmacology in the fall 2012. I chose the CMB program at UVM for its interdisciplinary program in Biomedical Sciences which ranges form Microbiology to Cancer biology and provides a unique opportunity for collaborative projects and training. My research interests include signal transduction, genetics and proteomics. Outside of the lab, I love cooking and cycling.
I am currently in Dr.Anthony Morielli’s Lab, our lab focuses on the physiology and molecular biology of Voltage gated Potassium channels, Kv1.2 channels to be specific. My current research focus is on the regulation of Kv1.2 in the cerebellum at the genetic and proteomic level.
