CMB Seminars

During the academic year students and faculty gather at noon on Tuesdays for the CMB Program Seminar Series. The seminars are usually presented by the CMB students, although occasionally a distinguished external speaker is invited. Students are expected to attend the CMB seminar series on a regular basis and to present once a year after their first year. The presentations are typically about the current state of the students research, and last about 45-50 minutes, including questions from the audience. Written feedback is provided by a faculty review panel to facilitate the development of professional presentation and speaking skills.
