The interplay between classical and alternative NF-κB signaling in the lung epithelium in inflammation control
Profile
I received a B.A. from Colgate University in Molecular Biology in 2008. I joined the CMB program in the fall of 2008 and joined Dr. Yvonne Janssen-Heininger’s laboratory for mydissertation work.
Research Description
I am investigating the relationship between classical and alternative NF-kappaB signaling in the lung epithelium. I am particularly interested in how changes in the redox environment of the cell can impact classical and alternative NF-kappaB signaling and how this regulates inflammatory diseases.
