I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Microbiology in 2012. I am very excited to join the Cell and Molecular Biology department at UVM this fall. I decided to attend UVM mainly for the amount of research being done in my field of interest (microbial pathogenesis) by faculty and graduate students. I am also an avid skiier, biker and general outdoor sports enthusiast so the environment surrounding the University is perfect.
