Arvis Sulovari
First Year Graduate Student
Profile
Born and raised in Albania, I moved to the UK for two years before coming to the United States in 2006 to pursue my college education.
After four years at Dartmouth College, I received my BA in Biological Sciences with a focus on Computational Genetics. Soon after college, I started working in the lab of Doctor Jason Moore for two years where I was immersed further into Computational Genetics and cancer research. I wanted more hands-on experience with genetics and molecular biology as well as to apply bioinformatics to biological problems. I chose the CMB graduate program at UVM because of its uniquely vibrant and collaborative environment composed of inspiring people with a genuine passion for science.
