Installing and Using Eudora at UVM

Please note the use of Eudora on mobile computers (those that roam off-campus), or on home computers is discouraged.  Eudora has several bugs in its security layer that require the use of third-party VPN software when off-campus.  VPN software can be obtained from the UVM Software Archive.

Eudora's implementation of the IMAP protocol also is known to be buggy.  Please consider Mozilla Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird if you desire IMAP access to your mail.
