Snow Sculpting: The tradition continues as snow sculpting teams from across the state vie for recognition in this internationally-sanctioned competition whose winner goes on to represent us at the national competition in Wisconsin. Ice Carving: The Burlington Winter Festival welcomes professional ice carvers from across New England. Come and watch as they craft beautiful and complex sculptures from sparkling blocks of ice along Church Street.
Echo at the Leahy Center: Join us for our third fabulous year at ECHO at the Leahy Center for the Family Expo. All exhibitors will be hosted in the ECHO facility on the Waterfront. Admission for this special day will be only $2 per person. Come and find all of the great activity partners from our past expo PLUS the great experience of being in the ECHO facility too! The Penguin Plunge: The Penguin Plunge sponsored by Special Olympics Vermont takes place at 11am on the Waterfront on this same weekend. The Kids Vermont Camp and School Fair at the Hilton Hotel (formerly the Windham) is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. where you can pick a camp or school option for your children for the summer. Saturday will find the Plunge folks jumping in Lake Champlain to raise money for Special Olympics Vermont.
